A Night We Will Remember: An Evening Over Violence.

We came together in community at the beautiful NoMad Los Angeles for An Evening Over Violence. It was a privilege to recognize the 2018 Humanitarian Award Recipients: Cathy Friedman, Terry Crews, and ESPN for The ESPYS and The Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.

Part of the experience on this evening was our Listening with Empathy Storytelling Installation. This interactive experience included stories from our honorees, the work that we do with youth and with survivors of domestic violence and our Domestic Abuse Response team, as well as connecting the work that we do to our campaigns, Denim Day and The Domestic Violence Action Fund.

As we look back to the photos of the evening with gratitude, we remain inspired! We worked to create a space that left people feeling like they were part of a community and a movement committed to violence prevention. For those who did not make it, you were with us in our hearts. We thank everyone who joined us; everyone who has been with us throughout our story, some for years, others we're only beginning to get to know. We look forward to our next celebration with you!
