POV Outreach & Training Requests

Peace Over Violence provides the following services to Central Los Angeles and West San Gabriel Valley. Trainings are available in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language upon request.

Please read the descriptions carefully so we are better informed of what is needed. 

While we try our best to meet every request, our participation is not guaranteed as attendance is dependent on the availability of our Violence Prevention Specialists and staff.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your request to be completed.

Presentation Requests

From Roots of Violence to Bullying and How to be an Upstander, we provide presentations on an array of topics, all listed within the form. 

This request is specific to youth, parents, or general community members who are involved with a program, community group, or organization — this will be free of charge. If you are requesting a presentation for staff, admin, and / or professionals of an organization, charge will vary depending on budget. 

Tabling Requests

We offer our tabling and outreach services free of charge to aid in building community partnerships by sharing resources. Click below to book us for your resource fairs, expos, community event, rally, protests, etc.

Professional Training

Our professional training covers an array of topics that are Trauma-based and Legal as well as Counseling & Intervention Techniques. They can be catered to any population including businesses, law enforcement, medical professionals, and academics. Please visit our form to view the subtopics available for your request. 

Please note that there is a service fee for Professional Trainings. 

Empowerment Self Defense Training

Our Empowerment Self-Defense courses provide psychological awareness, building verbal and assertiveness skills, and physical techniques. To learn more about the classes we offer, visit our ESD webpage.
