The new administration is reportedly proposing to eliminate the Office on Violence Against Women and Violence Against Women Act grants. Such actions would be catastrophic for survivors, families, and entire communities.

Many of us feel scared and confused by the future. But we have always done the impossible, we have always been courageous. You have a choice to practice courage now -- to stand with survivors.

We are joining the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence and other allies in this URGENT call to action. Call your Member of Congress and Senators to express your serious concern about any efforts to eliminate funding for VAWA programs.

It's up to us to reject this new administration's plans to harm advancements made by hard-working activists in the women's movement over 30 years ago. We must stand together and organize to protect each other.

To heal, we all need to feel safe. We all need to have access to life-saving support. But we can't do this alone. It's going to take all of us to organize and advocate to protect each other.
