Legal Clinics

To provide services to a greater number of clients, we offer legal clinics to assist clients in a group setting. We currently have two clinics: one to help clients obtain a divorce from their abusive partner and the second to help immigrant survivors obtain legal permanent residence or citizenship status through the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) self-petition process. At each clinic, a legal volunteer explains a portion of the process, and then clients are helped individually in filling out the appropriate legal paperwork.
